Sea Trout
A fishing day in the fjords is perfect for families, friends, beginners or skilled fishermen’s.
We can combine the fishing with bathing, trekking on an island or a nice lunch in one of the restaurants. I will provide all necessary fishing equipment, life west and bring a Swedish fika with coffee and cinnamon buns.
We have a strong population of wild trouts in this region and I will maximize your chances to catch one of these beautifull torpedos. We can fish with either fly rods or spinning at your choice.

The fjords offer an always changing environment where we can find the trouts in both shallow and deep water. Many times the trouts follow the lures all the way to the boat before they bite. This is a really action packed type of fishing.

The fjords around the Island of Orust just 70 kilometers north of Gothenburg offers an unique fishing experience. Let me take you to some of the best fishing spots for wild Sea Trout. All fish in this area is naturally grown and every small river that runs in to the ocean have a natural habitat of Sea Trouts. The average size of the Trouts is between 40-55 centimeters and it´s always a fair chance of catching a bigger fish. The Sea Trout season starts on the 1st april and goes on to the 30th september. After that fishing is not allowed and the spawning starts. The fishing area then rests during the winter.
I offer full day guiding with my Ockelbo B18CC boat or wading fishing from land. If you are fly fishing I recommend 1-3 guests in the boat depending on how skilled casters you are. If we are spinn fishing I can take 1-4 guest in the boat.
I take care of both beginners and skilled fishermans and I also do fly fishing courses for beginners.
Full day means 7 hours (ex 09:00-16:00) with me as your guide from that we meet up until that we say good bye. The time includes fishing, transports and time for lunch.
I also offer weekend or week packages with lodging and full accommodation. Just make a request and I will organize the trip for you with lodging in a local hotel or lodge and pick up at the airport or by your hotell. The nearest airport is Landvetter Airport Gothenburg and that it´s only a one hour drive away from the fishing area.
I can cover larger groups as well but this means that we have to be more than one fishing guide. Just make a request with your specified needs and I will calculate the price. We can take as many as 20 persons (five boats/guides).
The price for a full day fishing from boat or from land with me as your guide is 6400SEK. The price covers the full group of 1- 4 persons. I will bring life wests and fishing equipment for every one.
I don’t include lunch at a restaurant but I can really recommend it. One of my favorites is www.bryggvingen.se but there are several other good options as well. We will be fishing on the way out to the restaurant and back.
Home Port is at Svanviks Småbåtshamn/Varekil/Orust. We can start from another harbour (ex Mollösund, Nösund, Ellös, Henån, Käringön, Björholmens Marina, Myggenäs Marina) or I can pick you up at your own docks for an additional 500-1000SEK.
Pick up with car at your hotel in Gothenburg can be arranged. The price is 2000SEK.
I can also pic you up on a local dock near your lodge or at your hotel at an agreed price.
I also offer guide service at Lagunen Camp in Strömstad. An extra 2000SEK per day will charged for this location.
